School Choir

Our school choir meets every Wednesday, and all classes are welcome to join. The choir is a wonderful opportunity for pupils to explore their love of music, build confidence, and make new friends from across the school.
Each year, we proudly take part in two major events — the Peace Proms and the National Special Schools Choir Competition. These performances give our pupils the chance to sing alongside other schools, perform on stage, and experience the excitement of large-scale musical events.

A special feature of our choir is that we use Lámh signs in many of our songs, helping to make our performances more inclusive and expressive. This not only supports communication for all our pupils but also adds a beautiful visual element to our singing.
Throughout the year, the choir also plays an important role in school life. We sing at all school Masses and celebrations, bringing joy and music to every occasion.
Our choir is led by a super team of staff who bring enthusiasm, creativity, and encouragement to every rehearsal. Whether you’re a confident performer or just discovering your voice, everyone is welcome to come along, learn new songs, and be part of our amazing school choir!
