Horticulture
Post-Primary Horticulture Programme
Our post-primary classes take part in horticulture sessions every week. Under the guidance of our dedicated horticulture teacher, Noelle, pupils have the opportunity to explore the world of plants, gardening, and nature in a hands-on and enjoyable way.

Noelle plans a wide variety of fun and engaging activities, such as planting seeds, maintaining vegetable patches, growing flowers, and learning about composting and sustainability. Pupils take pride in caring for the school garden and watching their plants grow over time.
A highlight of our horticulture programme is our polytunnel, which allows pupils to grow plants all year round. Inside, they can sow seeds, nurture seedlings, and experiment with different types of fruit, vegetables, and flowers, regardless of the weather. The polytunnel provides a wonderful, hands-on learning space where pupils see the results of their hard work come to life.
