Gaisce

At St. Anne’s School, we are proud to take part in Gaisce – The President’s Award, a nationally recognised programme that empowers young people to challenge themselves, discover their strengths, and make a positive difference in their communities.
Through Gaisce, our pupils set personal goals and take on new challenges in four key areas — Community Involvement, Personal Skill, Physical Recreation, and an Adventure Journey. Each element of the programme encourages pupils to grow in confidence, develop resilience, and learn the value of teamwork, commitment, and service to others.

Our pupils  are guided and supported by a dedicated President’s Award Leader (PAL), who mentors them throughout their journey, helping them reflect on their progress and celebrate their achievements.
Taking part in Gaisce is more than just earning an award — it’s an opportunity for pupils to become motivated, responsible, and compassionate young people who live out the values of St. Anne’s in everything they do.
At St. Anne’s, we believe that experiences like Gaisce prepare our pupils not only for success in school but also for life beyond it — inspiring them to lead with confidence, kindness, and purpose.
